Pavarotti is fabulous. His vibrato, dynamics and interpretation are outstanding. What a listening pleasure.

Sutherland is so classic. Her fluttering vibrato so delicate and charming. Her interpretation so sensitive. A masterpiece.
The rest I could do without.
Bonochini struck a chord with both the performer and listener here.
The best of all the standard 24 Italian opera songs.
Not enough stress can be placed on the need for clear diction.
Change a few notes if you dare.
I arpeggio the the penultimate vocal measure to a 5th above the final note and end the first stanza on the 5th followed by an ascending double octave glisando from the instrumentation.
